Ownership, method, and accountability
TayTV is maintained by Jamil Maiss as an independent, unofficial fan-made publication and interactive atlas. The project’s purpose is to help people explore visual interpretation, sourced context, and creative response—not to impersonate an official artist channel.
The site is built as a static, progressively enhanced project. Public pages include readable HTML before scripts run; JavaScript adds records, filters, games, local saves, and optional account sync around that foundation. This choice supports accessibility, faster first reads, and visitors whose browser blocks scripts or third-party services.
The editorial method has three visible boundaries. First, public claims are linked to a source and dated. Second, interpretation is identified as TayTV’s own reading rather than an artist statement. Third, protected material is not reproduced: the project uses original CSS compositions and writing instead of official artwork, logos, merchandise designs, leaked material, or unlicensed lyrics.
The maintainer welcomes corrections and accessibility reports through the public repository issue page. A useful report includes the URL, the text or control at issue, the device or browser if relevant, and a source when the concern is factual. Corrections should be recorded openly and the page’s verification date should change only when the content has actually been checked.
The project may change as its audience teaches it what is useful. New features should earn their place by helping readers, not by creating doorway pages or a larger ad surface. Private tools remain optional, and advertising is limited to substantial public editorial routes after consent and policy review.

Please ask the maintainer first. Album and song names remain with their rights holders, and third-party material linked from the site remains subject to its own license.
No by default. Local tools store data in the current browser. Optional account sync is described on the Privacy page and requires an explicit sign-in.
Use the public repository issue page linked in the Contact section. Do not post private account, payment, or personal-identifying information in a public issue.
