Learning note · live production logic

The interesting part of a cue is dependency, not spectacle.

Cue Architect is an original fictional exercise. It teaches a simple systems idea: a visible effect can depend on invisible conditions that need to be true first.

A moving platform should not become a visual reveal before the system has a safe state. Lighting can be dramatically effective when it arrives after the performer or scenic object reaches the intended position. Optional effects should support the moment rather than becoming a required dependency. The scoring model rewards that hierarchy.

No real Eras Tour cue sheet, proprietary software, backstage document, or confidential technical data is reproduced here. For the sourced production context behind the exercise, read Anatomy of an Eras Night.
